Yuja Wang was playing Rachmaninov’s ‘Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini’ at the BBC Proms on 11th August, which you can see here on BBC iPlayer (for about a month):

The performance was, of course, sublime.

Quite often star international performers throw good technique out the window in favour of visual drama. But not in Yuja Wong’s case. Just look at the perfect hand shape and well-judged upper and lower-arm positioning. A masterclass!
